How CenturyName handles the small amount of personal information it collects, what third parties are involved, and how to have your data removed.

Last updated: 7 August 2026

CenturyName.com is operated from Ontario, Canada. This page explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

When you contact us. The name, email address and message you submit through the contact form. That is all we ask for and all we keep.

When you browse. Standard server and analytics data: pages viewed, approximate region, referring site, browser and device type. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually.

We do not collect payment information on this site. We never see your card details.

Why we collect it

  • To answer your enquiry and, where relevant, follow up about a name you asked about.
  • To understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
  • To keep the site secure and available.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent a question.

Third parties

A small number of services necessarily process data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, DNS and security. Processes request data including IP addresses.
  • Formspree — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
  • Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this site.
  • Atom.com — operates the domain storefront at domains.centuryname.com and handles all purchases. Once you follow a link to the storefront or complete a purchase, Atom's own privacy policy governs that activity. Escrow.com and Afternic apply their own policies where used.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies present are required for security or basic analytics. The storefront and checkout providers set their own cookies under their own policies.

How long we keep things

Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference — generally no more than 24 months. Aggregated analytics are retained in line with the provider's default settings.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email us through the contact page and we will action it within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory data rights — Canada's PIPEDA, the UK/EU GDPR, or a US state privacy law — those rights apply and we will honour them.

Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.

Contact

Privacy questions can be sent through the contact form and will reach a person.
